Export — Saudi Arabia
We export polyaluminium chloride from Dubai into the Kingdom by sea to Dammam and Jeddah, and overland through the Batha and Ghuwaifat crossings — with SASO and customs documentation prepared before dispatch.
| Route | Mode | Indicative transit | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jebel Ali → Dammam | Sea, container | 5–8 days | Eastern Province plants and industrial cities |
| Jebel Ali → Jeddah | Sea, container | 8–12 days | Western Region, Makkah and Madinah projects |
| Dubai → Batha → Riyadh | Road, FTL | 2–4 days | Central Region, urgent replenishment |
| Dubai → Ghuwaifat → Eastern Province | Road, FTL | 1–3 days | Jubail, Dammam, Al Khobar sites |
Transit times are indicative and exclude customs clearance. Border processing at Batha and Ghuwaifat varies significantly by season and documentation completeness.
Compliance
Prepared to Saudi customs requirements with correct HS classification and consignee details.
Attested as required. GCC-origin goods may qualify for preferential duty treatment under the GCC customs union.
Issued per production batch — routinely requested by Saudi water authority and municipal buyers.
Current SDS with transport classification for the specific grade shipped.
SABER / SASO conformity requirements apply to many imported chemicals. Confirm the current requirement for your HS code with your Saudi customs broker.
Where the grade is classified as DG, the declaration and UN-marked packaging are prepared before dispatch.
Saudi Arabia is the largest water treatment market in the GCC by a wide margin, and demand is driven by three things at once: municipal desalination and distribution expansion, the industrial cities at Jubail and Yanbu, and the giga-project developments now moving from design into construction and operation.
What Saudi buyers consistently ask for is documentation discipline. A municipal or semi-government tender will specify the certificate set, and a supplier who cannot produce a batch-specific CoA or an in-date SDS at inspection creates a delay that is expensive for everyone.
The practical advantage of shipping from Dubai is flexibility. Sea freight to Dammam is economical for planned volume, while an overland truck through Ghuwaifat can reach the Eastern Province in a couple of days when a plant runs short. Having both options against one supply agreement is what most of our Saudi clients actually want.
FAQ
Yes. We supply into the Kingdom by sea to Dammam and Jeddah and overland via the Batha and Ghuwaifat crossings, with full export documentation prepared before dispatch.
One 20ft container, approximately 27 tonnes of solid PAC. Smaller quantities can sometimes be consolidated with other shipments — ask us what is moving.
Conformity requirements depend on the HS code and current Saudi regulation. We prepare the supporting documentation and work with your customs broker, who files the conformity certification on the importer side.
Road freight via Batha is typically two to four days in transit plus customs clearance. Sea to Dammam then inland is generally longer but more economical for full container loads.
