Sudan and Libya are workable but need realistic planning. Documentation requirements and clearance timelines shift, so confirm the current position with your local agent before a container sails rather than after.
Payment terms matter more on these routes than in the GCC. First orders are normally against a confirmed Letter of Credit, which protects both sides — you are not paying in advance to a supplier you have not worked with, and we are not shipping into a market on trust alone.
